[:ru]До XVI века европейцы вообще никакого понятия об апельсинах не имели. Русские — тем более. У нас ведь апельсины не растут! А потом португальские мореплаватели завезли из Китая эти оранжевые вкусные шары. И стали торговать ими с соседями. По-голландски «яблоко» — appel, а «китайский» — sien. Заимствованное из голландского языка слово appelsien, является переводом французского словосочетания Pomme de Chine — «яблоко из Китая».[:uz]XVI asrgacha yevropaliklar apelsin haqida umuman tasavvurga ega emas edilar.
